NEWSFLASH!!!

It is with regret that we must announce that vocalist Rob Reid has decided to step down from Rock Bottom. Rob joined us two years ago and in that time has made an immense contribution to the sound and style of the band, but has now decided to step back to concentrate on his business. We wish him all the best in whatever future projects he pursues and thank him for the memories (and booze-addled absences!) that he helped us make together.

Being the gent that he is, Rob will continue to cover gigs until we are able to find a suitable replacement. So without further ado...

​

Rock Bottom are searching for a powerful vocalist and energetic frontman to take the band forward into 2027 and beyond. The suitable candidate will know the classic songs of UFO and MSG inside out and will be able to cover Phil Mogg's soulful croon while also stretching to Gary Barden's high-pitched histrionics. They will know how to work and enthuse an audience and be able to embrace the band-as-team dynamic that we strive for. We play roughly 16 to 20 gigs a year across the North and the Midlands. We rehearse in West Yorkshire so being based reasonaby close by would be an advantage.
